About the Asian Community Fund
The Asian Community Fund at the Boston Foundation (ACF) is the first and only philanthropic fund in Massachusetts focused on engaging, uniting, and supporting the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
Since its establishment in 2020, ACF has brought together thousands of AAPI residents and allies statewide, distributed over $1M in grants to Asian-serving community nonprofits, and has incubated essential coalitions such as the Asian Business Empowerment Council, the AAPI Arts and Culture Collaborative, and the AAPI Mental Health Collaborative. To date, the ACF has activated over $7 million in philanthropic support to strengthen the AAPI nonprofit and business ecosystems and has supported 86 local Asian-serving community nonprofits since 2022.
