Paul Grogan at TBF centennial

Paul S. Grogan Fund

To honor and sustain Paul's innovative vision for research, reporting and collective action on the pressing issues of concern to Greater Boston.

The Paul S. Grogan Fund is an endowed field of interest fund within the Permanent Fund for Boston, created to sustain and build on the pioneering work the Foundation has engaged in over the last 20 years. The new fund will ensure that the Boston Foundation continues to have the capacity to engage in the problem-solving approach so emblematic of Paul’s tenure. These resources will enable the board and staff to nimbly pursue solutions to critical issues as they emerge.

The Board of Directors of the Boston Foundation will have discretion over designating the focus for the fund now and in the future. With the dramatic and overdue dialogue we are having about systemic racism, Paul and the Board have determined that the initial focus of the fund will be: Racial Justice, Anti-Racism and Supporting Leaders of Color in Greater Boston.
