The Evolution of Mass in Motion: One State's Response to a National Epidemic

The Commonwealth launched Mass in Motion in January of 2009 to address a rising tide of obesity nationally and in Massachusetts. Today, more than 60 cities and towns across the state have Mass in Motion programs. This report examines what has been accomplished to date and the challenges that remain.
