The report tries to answer two main questions: How does the financial support available for metro Boston's arts and cultural sector compare to that of other regionas around the country? and How does that support impact the sector. Working with the advice of local cultural leaders and arts advocates, the research collected information about metro Boston and nine other metropolitan areas with similar populations, thriivng arts communities, and some of the highest art revenues per capita nationally.
