Gov. Baker announces Black Advisory Commission Recommendations

On October 10th, the Boston Foundation hosted Governor Charlie Baker and members of his Black Advisory Commission for the unveiling of the Commission’s recommendations.

Chaired by executive consultant Deborah Enos, the Commission seeks to: expand college and career pathways for the state’s black students; increase the advancement of the black workforce; and improve the competitiveness of black-owned businesses.

Speaking at the event, Governor Baker announced that he was prepared to put $10 million behind the Commission’s recommendations.
