Senior Associate, Donor Engagement & Partnership

Hybrid Schedule (subject to change): 3-days a week in office; usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The remaining 2-days may be worked remotely.
Position Budgeted: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00
Position Summary:
The Senior Associate, Donor Engagement & Partnership is an integral part of the team that stewards and supports fund advisors and prospects. This position reports to the Senior Director of Donor Engagement and provides administrative, organizational and logistical support to the Director of Donor Engagement & Partnerships and the Associate Director of Donor Engagement & Partnerships. This position manages a small portfolio of fund advisors and plans and provides strategic support for special projects, including events.
Essential Functions:
- Stewards and cultivates prospects and donors through relationship building, research, and event planning;
- Manages a small portfolio of 5-10 fund advisors;
- Drafts giving guides, correspondence and other marketing materials;
- Provides technical and administrative support for events, occasionally outside of business hours, including managing timelines and activities in coordination with the Events Team, tracking and coordination of guest lists, invitation mailings and follow-up correspondence;
- Generates reports from Salesforce and Foundation Power databases;
- Reviews and analyzes data related to donor and prospect activities, gifts, and grants;
- Provides administrative and logistical support to three staff members engaged in donor cultivation and support;
- Manages calendars, scheduling and appointment management for the Senior Director;
- Processes and submits expense reports and department invoices;
- Ensures the smooth facilitation of gifts and grants to Donor Advised Funds;
- Responds to inquiries from prospects/donors via telephone, correspondence and email in a time-sensitive manner;
- Provides research and support for prospect/donor meetings and projects;
- Participates in onboarding of new Donor Advised Funds, serving as co-interviewer, notetaker, and follow-up contact; drafts follow-up materials;
- Coordinates, sometimes in conjunction with other staff, internal and external meetings, convenings, conferences and special events;
- Develops agendas, takes notes, creates presentations and feedback surveys, and materials for internal and external events;
- Works collaboratively with colleagues to implement and uphold data integrity protocols;
- Maintains data for prospects, donors and fund records in Salesforce database in a timely manner;
- Provides general administrative support to the entire Donor Engagement & Partnerships under direction of the Senior Director of Engagement.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with internal working groups with other departments at the Foundation; and
- Individuals assigned to this position may perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Preparation, Knowledge, Previous Experience:
- College degree or equivalent related experience; and
- At least 2-3 years work-related experience.

- A can-do and will-do attitude, i.e. no task is too high level nor too basic;
- Ability to handle confidential matters in a discreet manner; and
- Preference for an awareness, understanding, and connection to the Boston community.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Ability to work for long periods of time at a workstation;
- Ability to use a computer monitor and keyboard for long periods of time; and
- Ability to work onsite and remotely, as required.
