The Latino Equity Fund at the Boston Foundation is now accepting applications for its FY24 grantmaking cycle. The application portal will be open from Wednesday, September 20, 2023 until  Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.

About the Latino Equity Fund

The Latino Equity Fund (LEF) at the Boston Foundation is the first and only philanthropic fund in Massachusetts dedicated to activating, convening, and supporting the Latino community in Greater Boston and across MA. Launched in 2013, LEF is a permanent resource designed to galvanize and unite the diverse voices within our community, incubate new partnerships, and build a stronger advocacy voice. The Fund seeks to mobilize and support Latino residents, community organizations and community leaders to collaborate for the betterment of our communities.

About this Application Cycle

For its FY24 grantmaking cycle, LEF seeks applications from community nonprofits in Massachusetts who are working towards the advancement of Latinos by creating economic prosperity opportunities or addressing health disparities and well-being.

With its grantmaking, LEF strives to catalyze new partnerships, expand the capacity of the Latino nonprofit sector, and respond to emerging community needs. LEF prioritizes supporting emerging Latino-serving organizations, those who are Latino-led, and organizations that have not previously received funding from LEF/TBF. Where possible, LEF encourages collaborative efforts that mobilize multiple community organizations around a shared opportunity or need and strengthen cross-agency partnerships. Applications are due on Sunday, October 22, 2023, by 11:59 p.m. Please review the eligibility and application guidelines below.
