Closer to the Finish Line: College Completion in the Boston Public Schools
Professor Andrew Sum of the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University discusses the results of his research into college completion by graduates of the Boston Public Schools - his work finds that BPS grads now exceed the national average for college completion, and finds promising signs in the "Success Boston" initiative at keeping students in college at markedly higher rates than their peers. Learn more about that program at the Success Boston website.
The presentation was held at the Boston Foundation, January 17, 2013.
