The 2020 Greater Boston Housing Report Card webinar series will provide research and analysis to inform policy makers, advocates and the development community on the challenges of our housing situation - which was in crisis even before the pandemic hit - and how they disproportionately burden lower income households of color. The series will draw from research in the COVID Community Data Lab, which grew from ideas generated by the Report Card team, and other emerging sources to highlight the impact of COVID on households in Greater Boston, with particular focus on the racial disparities in housing access and stability.
The first event in the series assesses households’ ability to pay rents and mortgages, the prospects facing lower-income households at the end of the eviction and foreclosure moratorium and some innovative responses from municipalities. A panel discussion will follow the data presentation. Please plan to join us for this important conversation.
