The Open Door Grants program was created as a response to the ideas and needs of the community. We encourage new and existing nonprofit organizations in Greater Boston that are not directly aligned with the strategies, goals and approaches pursued in the Foundation’s five impact areas to pursue Open Door Grants for support of their efforts to meet existing needs or test new ideas and innovations that address the most critical challenges and biggest opportunities facing our community.
Uncertain if you are eligible for an Open Door Grant? Read our guidelines to learn more about our eligibility criteria.
The next application deadline for the Open Door Grants program will be Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
This series of conversations held throughout Greater Boston provides community members with the opportunity to learn more about Open Door Grants, ask questions and discuss the application and review processes with Boston Foundation staff. The Open Door Grants program supports new or existing nonprofit organizations in their efforts to meet present needs or test new ideas and innovations that address the most critical challenges and opportunities facing the people of Greater Boston.
Please join us for one of these sessions. Sessions run December 7, 2018 through January 10, 2019.
