Open Door Grants Information Sessions

Learn about the Open Door Grants program and application process.

Note: Our information sessions for the August 2019 grant deadline have been completed. Look for more sessions this fall ahead of the February 2020 grant application deadline!

Please join the Open Door Grants team for a conversation about our grant-making program. This series of conversations held throughout Greater Boston provides an opportunity to learn more about our program, ask questions and discuss the application and review processes.

We ask that each nonprofit organization limit its registration to one individual, to allow space to accommodate as many nonprofits as possible. Enrollment slots for in-person sessions are limited.

The Open Door Grants program was created as a response to the ideas and needs of the community. We encourage new and existing nonprofit organizations in Greater Boston that are not directly aligned with the strategies, goals and approaches pursued in the Foundation’s five impact areas to pursue Open Door Grants for support of their efforts to meet existing needs or test new ideas and innovations that address the most critical challenges and biggest opportunities facing our community.

Uncertain if you are eligible for an Open Door Grant? Read our guidelines to learn more about our eligibility criteria.
