Federal Transit Administration and Center for Transit-Oriented Development report on high demand for housing near transit

A new study conducted for the Federal Transit Administration by the national non-profit Center for Transit-Oriented Development finds significant demand for housing near transit. It predicts that by 2025, more than 14.6 households across the country are likely to want to rent or buy housing near transit – double the number of current neighborhood residents.
