Establish a Field-of-Interest Fund
Field of Interest Funds support particular areas of community life, such as the arts or education, or specific populations, such as children or the elderly. For example, since it was established in 1997, the David R. Pokross Fund for Children in Need has supported a wide variety of organizations serving children such as YMCA of Greater Boston, Children's Services of Roxbury, Countdown to Kindergarten and Big Brothers of Massachusetts.
If you establish a fund today, it will continue to support the issues you care about most in perpetuity.
Gifts to a Field of Interest Fund can be made during life or by bequest or other planned gift.
