The Boston Foundation is a resource for nonprofit organizations in the Greater Boston area.

Nonprofit organizations may use the Foundation's conference rooms free of charge in accordance with the  Conference Room Guidelines.

The Boston Foundation is developing a comprehensive Nonprofit Resource Center that will offer in-depth information for nonprofits.  Features will include:

The Massachusetts Nonprofit Sector: An overview of the major components of the Massachusetts nonprofit sector and links to data and information for organizations to stay abreast of the changes in laws and regulations that may impact their enterprises.  The section also will address advocacy and lobbying.

Leading a Nonprofit Enterprise: Details the functional responsibilities of nonprofit executives and board members and presents resources for strengthening the internal capacity of the organization.  Topics covered include executive management, board governance and diversity of leadership.
